When is it needed?
Either the permitting body requires it or the organiser wants it for safety. Common events in Çorlu:
| Event | Typical length | Main risk |
|---|---|---|
| Amateur league and school matches | 2–3 hours | Collisions, sprains, head injury |
| Wrestling, combat and motor sports | Half or full day | Serious injury |
| Concerts and open-air shows | 4–6 hours | Crowds, heat, fainting |
| Graduations and school fairs | Half day | Children and elderly guests |
| Company family days and picnics | Full day | Wide age range, play areas |
| Weddings | 4–5 hours | Elderly guests, summer heat |
See ambulance cover at amateur matches.
What we need to know
Type and programme, venue and size, start and end times including set-up, expected attendance and age mix, any written requirement, whether trained first-aiders are present and the event manager’s contact.
Is one vehicle enough?
With one vehicle, the site is uncovered while a patient is taken to hospital. Near Çorlu State Hospital that gap is short; for large or risky events we plan a second vehicle or an extra medic who stays on site.
Company events
Family days bring children and elderly relatives alongside employees, with bouncy castles and pools adding risk. A short risk assessment with the company’s safety specialist helps. For permanent needs see on-site ambulance.
Frequently asked questions
Is an ambulance mandatory for an amateur match?
It depends on the organising federation’s or body’s instructions; ask them for the written requirements.
What if the event is cancelled?
Cancellation and postponement terms are set in writing with the quote — worth agreeing up front for weather-dependent events.
Does the crew set up a first-aid point?
A treatment area is set up beside the vehicle; a separate medical tent can be planned for large events.
