What the service covers
A private ambulance provides the vehicle, driver, medical staff and the equipment the patient may need on the way. The job starts at the patient’s bedside and ends at the bedside at the destination: leaving the building, settling in the vehicle, the road, handover and passing on documents are all included. It is a paid service run by providers licensed by the Ministry of Health; you choose the time and the hospital.
Three typical cases in Çorlu
Home to hospital. A patient on the fourth floor in Reşadiye cannot walk and has a cardiology check-up; the crew collects, delivers on time and brings them back.
Hospital to hospital. The family wants a second opinion at a centre in Istanbul; admission is confirmed and the patient travels with their documents.
Workplace to hospital. An employee who feels unwell, but not urgently, is taken to hospital on the workplace doctor’s advice.
What we ask on the call
Where the patient is (quarter, street, floor), where they are going, when, whether they can sit, equipment in use, approximate weight, whether there is a lift and who accompanies them. For patients on oxygen see transferring a patient on oxygen.

Notes specific to Çorlu
Always state the quarter — Çorlu has 26 (giving directions in Çorlu). The state hospital has two buildings: the main one on Bülent Ecevit Boulevard (Zafer) and the Münir Alkan annex (Muhittin). Roads are slow at shift-change hours. For stable, stretcher-only cases a patient transfer ambulance is enough; for Istanbul see Çorlu – Istanbul.
